My Spark Cats/Team Mates at Home

Thursday, March 26, 2009

Everyone needs a support team, and our online virtual team is great at SparkPeople, but here's a couple photos of my "home" team...

These are the oldest two on my "home" team, the other two are in my photo gallery.

They sure help a lot, the laptop kitty, Goblin, is on my lap as I navigate the SparkPeople site hourly/daily, and the gray one, Bullet (the oldest), sits next to me most times as well.

The feeding, the putting down/picking up bowls, the watering, the cleaning the litter box, the cleaning up the "excess" food eaten...all add to my exercise minutes.

A typical feeding of my "home" team takes about a 1/2 hour...could not find this activity in the Fitness Tracker.

I understand success is a team effort, and with this team around me, how can I fail?

Thanks for sharing your home team with us! They are sooo cute. My cat has recently learned that he isn't the only one who gets to use the treadmill. He uses it for sleeping - I'm sure he wonders why I keep running in the same spot on it and don't lay down on it like he does! Have a great evening!! emoticon emoticon

Oh I could not agree more! I have 5 feline support members in my home and one canine support member! They are just the best! They all make sure I am up on time ( even on Sat when I would like to sleep just a wee bit longer) and they are always available for a hug. I will have to post photos. I am fairly new to Spark.

I know what you mean. I have two dogs and a cat. All take medicine (my cat has asthma, and both dogs take joint meds), so between feedings and meds...I probably spend and hour a day taking car of my animals. Plus with dogs I'm getting up and down to let them outside about 100 times a night (well maybe only 10, but it feels like 100 sometimes)!!

    Your kittys are cute!

    Spark on! emoticon emoticon
