~oh happy day~

Wednesday, April 01, 2009

ok i guess i have my good days, and my not so good days.i was outside on our porch with our little boy.i was looking at myself in the glass on our storm door.this might sound weird, but i have had many surgeries.when i say many i mean about 7-9.i have lost count.all was on my stomach.from hernias to bowel obstruction.to infections.so my stomach i know will never be the same.its so scarred up,i have no belly button.i just hate my stomach.(it makes me sick). anyways..my point is,i was looking and i noticed it doesnt hang as low as it did about a month and a half ago.this is a touchy emotional subject for me.i have been in and out of hospitals so much.to come this far,and to see that my stomach is really changing,it gives me hope that once i lose the weight it might not hang so low after all.......my workout today was intense.im still feeling it.power walked 2 miles.my legs r so sore.didnt know i could move that fast.lol!so today was a good day.hope to report many more! emoticon

You are doing great my friend !!! I am sure your belly is shrinking :) I hate mine too and I havent been through everything that you have ... I did see the other day a reality tv star that lost a ton of weight... she didn't have a belly button and the surgeon removed all of her excess skin and created a belly button for her...she was wearing a bikini when she was done. Pretty cool what they can do :)
Did you try the exercises I told you about ??
