~sad....but happy~

Thursday, April 02, 2009

a week ago i wrote in my blog about my husband losing his job.there were so many supportive people who left me many encouraging words.im happy to report that he has applied for many trucking jobs, and today he found out he got the job to the one we both wanted!this is great news.but im sad at the same time.i feel so stupid.i know he needs to work, its just i miss him already.i was used to him being gone for 6 weeks at a time, now that hes been home for a week i just dont want him to go!besides things r a lot easier with an extra set of hands to help me out with things.i drop him off tomorrow, hope i can hold it together.he has been really supportive with my weight loss.he has complemented me everyday on my changing body!i will miss him keeping our son out of my way while i workout.lol!the one thing i wont miss is the extra dishes!haha! or him wanting me to cook 3 times a day.but i have ate a lot better than i thought i would since hes been home.havent went over my limit at all.proud of myself there! i even did my quick fires in front of him.lol.well we have to go pick up a few things for him.so i will be back soon.thanks again for those of u who were so supportive!i love my spark family! emoticon emoticon

I'm so glad your husband found a job, especially one he and you both wanted him to get! Even though the time apart is hard, it makes the homecomings that much better! Good luck, and know that we are all here for you!

Yeah I agree...it's an incentive to really stick with the good food plan and exercising! He'll see the changes when he gets back home for sure...in the meantime, know that when people see your Spark comments we all say a little prayer in your direction....much luck to you always!

You did so well when he was home, and you will find a way to do well when he is gone. It is okay to miss him (heck, something would probably be wrong if you didn't), but think of what a nice surprise he will have when he comes home (and how you will feel showing off for him).

I'm glad that he found work so quickly and that stress is off for both of you.

    Take care!

You need to look at the positive side of things! When he comes home you'll look even better and he'll be so excited for you!!

My husband goes out of town a lot and I tease him and tell him that's why I've been able to stay married to him for almost 29 years!! emoticon

Hang in there. You know you won't be bored with Dakota and working out. If you need to stay sane you can reach out to all of us!! emoticon
