****Dont Know Why****

Wednesday, June 03, 2009

ok so i bought this new scale emoticon,i like it b/c no matter how many times i get on it,it says the same thing.unlike my old one..lol..ok but i didnt like the 10 lb.difference!! yes 10 lbs!!
so in between my 8 week battles i used that time to let the scale catch up to me.so i lost the 10 pounds, but i cant put it on spark.i dont know if i explained that right.lol.well i mean come on,i was not about to put down I GAINED 10 LBS.
so i have a question..
anytime i bump up my workouts,i dont see a good weigh in that week.im wondering if anyone else experiences this??
i have bumped it up to the biggest loser cardio max parts 1&2 3 x's a week.
aerobics/dancing workouts 3 x's a week.
strength training 2x's a week.i have off sundays.
+ my qfc's..this is my new routine. if i dont see a good weigh in next week,i will be emoticon

my son is doing much better, thank u to all the people who was concerned.he is teething, poor 'lil' guy is getting in his molars.but as for me..
i dont know,im not so great.i mean im fine with my eating ,and stuff.but i am feeling soo..i cant even explain it.almost like im so worried something bad is about to happen,im trying to shake this feeling, but i cant.im so unsure about everything..analyzing whatever comes my way.i dont like feeling this way.maybe its time to go to the dr.i dont know theres more to it,i just dont want anyone to think im weird..lol!im hoping i feel better soon.

i agree with everyone else, she is being rude, don't let people take away your happiness, you are doing this, and nobody can stop you, when people are rude to me,i use it to my advantage, makes me more motivated to show them i can do it,you always run across people who are jealous that you are doing something for the good, and they will try to bring you down.just lift your head and say, your not going to stop me i am and i will do this. emoticon emoticon

I have a killer Mom look that my kids can feel across a crowded room. I would so use it. Then I would tell her very firmly to not do that again.

Yes, when I step up my exercise I often don't see the results on the scale, feel it in my body though. The scale is the last one to compliment you for all your hard work.

You know you are getting there when jealous people start trying to bring you down.

Good advice, all! I agree, the nurse was rude and next time you should tell her you aren't happy with what she's saying. As to the scale, mine will give me different weights every once in awhile. I always have to look to see if the cats hopped on with me! LOL! Again, someone said about building muscle and that could be. Are you tracking exercise and calories? Going too far over your exercise calories could cause the body to stop losing, thinking it's starving.

Glad your son is better, and hope you're feeling better soon!

    best wishes,
    Lynn

Hey Christina...Luv ya! The scale can be our worst enemy; I made a rule...Get on once and off...that's it. Whatever the reading is...I'll take. Otherwise, I'm setting myself up for frustration. You know, right after Battle #3 ended; I actually gained six pounds, according to the scale. I didn't want to claim that; but in all honesty, I had to. Anyway, This week it's gone.
I loved your blog "14 Little Things", I think that says it all; the numbers on the scale are only a fraction of ways to measure your progress!

I think that is very rude of the NB nurse, I agree with the last comment about letting her know that is not ok. You keep working out and enjoy that you are making a healtier, stronger you! The weight will come off, maybe not as fast as we want .
My scale flutuates all the time, it is annoying. Also muscle weighs more than fat, so as you are burning off the fat, you are building up your muscles. The muscles build up faster than the fat disappears. But you should be feeling a difference in your clothes and maybe think about measuring yourself, you may see shrinkage there, but not on the scale right away. Don't give up, it is a battle we fight daily and we will win.

I'm happy your son is feeling better and you know what was bothering him. Glad it wasn't anything worse.

Hang in there, and NO you are not weird. Stay Sparked!

You know what??? It's OKAY to call people's rude behavior to their attention. It's okay to have boundaries and make people aware of them. It was NOT okay for that chick to do that. It was NOT okay. It sounds like she's done this type of thing on more than one occasion... and it won't stop until you tell her it's NOT OKAY. You are worth it!!! You don't have to be rude - just assume she doesn't know she's being rude and simply tell her how it makes you feel and you're sure now that she knows how much you don't like it that she'll respect you enough not to do it again. Firm but nice. You are worth it!

    Great Comment Brooke!

You are so Rocking It Out Christina!

There will always be haters. You must be doing something right- you got people showing that Green Eyed (Jealousy) Monster. Something you will have to get used to and find a way to ignore! The better you look the more they come after you! When you are on the right track- sometimes you will get attacked! Well, why would evil come after those they already have? You are fighting the Battle Every Day and must get prepared for those who will hold you back- even with "good intentions" (disguises). Get your battle on every day. Get your inner strength ready for these things that would attack you and try to get you back down where you were before. The scales, "good intending" people, our own insecurities are all things you Must Be Ready To Take On!

It is a daily battle and you have to arm yourself every day- Consciously- and You will Succeed!

Keep sharing- it helps to release all that pent up energy! Love your blogs!

    emoticon Christina!!!
I left you a comment that hopefully cheered you up a little bit earlier!! emoticon
I think your doing great!!! I told you that I went through this same thing, and being kinda in the same situation..I totally understand what your going through! emoticon
Just remember not too push yourself to hard!! And check your blood sugars girl!! I've noticed with strenuous exercise, my sugars drop..we don't need you going into a coma!! emoticon
The scale will change it's mind soon...mine does, it goes up and down through out the day...so I try to stay off of it and not worry about the "numbers". I just took new motivational photos..like I said..it works!!
How old is your son?? My boy is now 17 months old...I know all about the teething thing and it is a very stressful time..Nathan's still teething, although he has most his teeth in.
There must be something going through the air!!! Cause I've been in a really Beechy mood today..and yesterday, I seriously want to like sit down and scarf my face...Nah, on days like this one, I usually go back to bed and take a nap! emoticon It makes me feel very un-productive..if that's a word..LoL.
Keep your chin up!!! Your doing great!!! emoticon and remember that you have support!! emoticon We're here for you!!! If you need to talk about it...I'll listen! I need support sometimes too!!
    Remember: YOU are WORTH IT!!!
