Harley to Moped....come in HARLEY!!! Roger that!!!!

...spit... sputter...choke...BUT NOT DEAD!!!!! Lord I started out like a proud shiny Harley...strutting my stuff and proud. Look at me, I'm doing this.....strong.....nothings gonna shut me down! NOW I feel like I need a kick start again. I feel like my mighty Harley has been downsized to a moped and the bugs are getting in my teeth! Come on Deb....get going, I tell myself. OK OK let's get this momentum back....yea, yea that's the spirit....then my moped motor quits and I'm pedaling as fast as I can feeling like I'm getting no where.....well actually to McDonald's to get my next ice cream cone. What am I THINKING??? Actually that is the problem...I'm not thinking. I need to get this Harley back on the track and realize she needs a fine tuning once in a while (re-group her healthy choices and exercise more) and PUSH her to perform what I know she is capable of. Getting a tune up.....cruis'in the HIGH way again bright and early!! Maybe this time I'll wear a helmet ( labeled SPARK PEOPLE ENCOURAGEMENT) for my own protection, and be darn glad it's there EVERYDAY!! This is just pit stop...and boy was it the pits!!

I get this blog. But you are so strong I know that you will be Harley strength in no time.

I was reading that a kiddie cone from McDonalds is better than the apple dippers and caramel. So maybe your choice was not so bad....

    Hello MsDebi,
    Loved your blog.
    Wonderful analogy for me too.
Seems like forever since I've been on here.
Glad to see that you are doing as well as you are with the reduction of your insulin too. I was a bit worried over my vacation that I might have to go back on mine. I did take it one day and then again it seemed my body needed that little extra boost, like your Harley sound, LOL. I'm proud of you for all that you've done so far. Keep up the great work. Thanks for checkin' in on me. I'm slowly trying to get back into the hang of things here, typing and all have been all but lost for me lately, except for my iPhone, and I didn't do too much on it either.

    CYA 'round
    Thanks again,
    Your biggest friend,
