I just thought I would write a blog about some of the MANY things I have learned during my Journey.
1.If I would have accepted losing just 1 lb.a week years ago..I would already be at my goal weight.
2.I remember sitting on our couch watching t.v. seeing ALL the commercials,or Paid Advertisement's on a certain "Diet Pill".Or whatever someone was trying to sell to make you lose weight..I thought ,"Why dont I try that?"
To be honest I would have tried anything except what I'm doing now.
People always want the easy way out(I did)..The truth is there is NO EASY WAY OUT! Just eating right,and MOVE your body.
3.No matter how many years I have been friends with someone..It doesnt guarantee they will support me in all I do.
4.You dont get something for nothing..My body isnt gonna change on its own..It's up to ME,and only ME.
5.I use to go on "DIETS" thinking to myself,"I just wont eat much,and the pounds will drop."BOY was I wrong
6.This is a "Lifestyle Change" not a DIET! IF I just go on a diet.. Then I'm not learning new healthy habits that will last me a lifetime!
7.There is a place where you can go for support.It is 100% FREE! You are not judged..No one makes you feel as if your just NO GOOD.Spark has truly saved me in more ways than one.
The support I receive here makes up for the lack of support I get at home,and from MOST of my friends.
8.I know the 2 keys to my accomplishments (other than exercising)are TRACKING my food,and exercise
9.That there are other people out there that DO go through the same struggles as I do.Not just the weight..But all the baggage that goes along with it..I'm not alone.
10.If I give up today..I wont make it.Thats a fact,a fact thats hard to face...Something that is laying on my shoulders everyday.
I know theres more,I will add to this soon.
To everyone who has helped me..Thank you to anyone who has helped someone else.
