Family

Wednesday, November 04, 2009

There are too many people who don't understand the importance of developing relationships with the ones you love. I take my family with me to any occasion I can. I don't care whether it's a school function, a casual outing or a professional event. I love having my husband with me. First of all it gives me a sense of security to know he's there as my personal cheerleader. Secondly, I think there's no better role model for our children than to see their parents enjoy spending time with each other no matter the occasion.

I love my family! I want them around me all the time! emoticon

Good for you! Who cares what others think! I suppose the reason some people might be weird about it because they aren't used to it. My family is really large and my siblings are much older than me, so I sort of grew up an only child, but I am determined to make sure that any kids I have will grow up in a very similar situation as what you are describing. I want them to feel a part of something and to see their parents happy together like you say.

I agree with you. I am so happy that our son started taking ballroom dancing with us this summer. We don't know how long he will be here, since he is job hunting. We're enjoying spending the time with him.
