~What do you think?~

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

Well Hi there..As many of you know I'm having problems with my emoticon
I weighed myself and lost 30 lbs over night.."Whatever"..LOL!
I was looking through the scales and seen a couple I really like.
HOWEVER I'm scared if I buy the digital one I will end up even MORE frustrated..Because anytime I weigh myself on a digital scale it says I weigh like 10 lbs MORE!
So what kind of scale do you all use?
I love the idea of being able to know what my body fat% is..Just don't know.
So you tell me what you think..What kind of scale do you use emoticon
Thanks so much.God Bless my Spark Family,Christina emoticon

I have a digital scale. It has the body fat percentage on it. I like going by BMI better. emoticon

I only weigh myself once a week, more to see the downward (or God forbid, the upward) trend. But it seems fairly accurate. It is digital, but it doesn't have the bells and whistles. It's a health-o-meter that I bought at walmart. And it works.

My scale and I have a love-hate realationship! Its a very old Health-O-Meter and its a LIAR! It weighs me about 5-10 pounds lighter than most scales and I have the tendency to play with the adjustment knob so it lies to me some more! I get really frustrated when I go to the doctors office and find out how heavy I really am, than go straight home and let my scale console me! Sometimes I think about buying a new fangled digital scale but I never do!

If you weigh in too much get weighed at the doctors now and again. Don't have a scales at home if that drives you batty. Constantly weighing in during the week feels okay for people, but your getting non accurate readings, sparks experts are just trying not to demotivate people saying this truth. Reality is some of the heatlhy food we eat needs more than one day to pass through our digestive system, many people don't realise it is impossible to put on 3lbs of fat over night, it can and usually is waste products moving slower than normal...

Hate my digital scale, and the body fat thing doesn't actually work (when I was 186, it said my body fat was 44%--don't think so!!!!) Anyway, if I were to buy another scale, it would definitely be a regular old dial scale (I'd rather have a doctor's scale, but without the doctor's salary, those suckers are expensive!!!!)
