~Dakota..The SpiderMan ball..And Broccoli~

Wednesday, January 13, 2010

Ok so I made dinner tonight expecting Dakota to cringe at the thought of eating his broccoli emoticon..Like usual.
As I'm cutting it up I'm snacking on it as well, lol.
He sees me..AND wants some!! emoticonHe LOVED it!!
Then I thought I was pushing it trying to get him to eat it steamed with a little Velveeta melted on it..NOPE! He ate it! I must say I was so HAPPY!(he never would before)
And so proud,I still can't stop smiling emoticon

The other day I was using my exercise ball(for the first time) which I LOVE!!
Dakota grabs his little SpiderMan ball, and does what I'm doing.
Here lately he has been laying on the living room floor..I walk in to find him doing "CRUNCHES"!! Can you believe this?? emoticon

I feel amazing that our "lil" guy who is only 2yrs is already doing something that is soooo GREAT for him..
Just don't get why in the HE#@ it took me 28 yrs to do these things emoticon

Thought I would share this wonderful story with my Spark Family.
Hope you all are well..AND FOCUSED!!
God Bless ALL,Christina emoticon

I hope that when I have kids they will also be able to learn from my example. That is so cool! :) I didn't see things like that when I was little. I remember having little debbie treats waiting for snacks after school. Ya know? My mom ate pretty healthy if it was up to her, but she made whatever the family wanted and it wasn't usually the greatest thing.

Christina, what a great story! Accounts for why, at 23, my son still prefers to have an extra serving of salad instead of dessert! I was doing pretty well back when he was that age, and still love salads almost more than anything else I could eat. Unfortunately fresh veggies get too expensive up here in the winter, so I don't eat as many as I'd like to! Way to go, Dakota!

We used to own a roller rink. I was waiting on a little boy, about 6 years old. He asked how many fat grams were in a piece of our pizza. I told his mother when she came to pick him up. She had no idea where he got that from. Little kids are just like sponges.

Just goes to show that kids emulate what they see. If that doesn't keep parents on their toes and paying attentiion nothing will. Keep up the great work and never stop trying!
