I have days like this all the time. My hubby has learned to back away! Some me time is definitely the best thing for it. The thing that works best for me to get past that feeling of "grr" is a walk or doing some cleaning and as a relatively new Sparker, I'm still not a big fan of exercise (though I'm getting happier with it) and I REALLY hate to clean. I've asked the kids and hubby if I could just punch them a little and they said "no", and the temptation to throw things is no good as I'd be more annoyed with having to pick up after myself.
Try this: light scented candles all over your bathroom. Draw a hot bath, empty 2 cups of Epsom salts into it. Turn on your favorite music. Turn off the lights. Step into tub and swish the salts with your feet till melted. Then relax till you feel better. If the water gets cold, add more hot. Just stay there indulging in self-comfort till you feel better.
