I need a swift kick in the @%&&!

Sunday, January 16, 2011

The scale is creeping UP UP AND UP on me. I saw 345 flash across the damn thing several times this weekend! I remember trying to get below the 350s and how hard that was and here i am hovering around that awful number again.

I bought some new workout videos, filled up my water cooler jug and yet I am still binge eating every bit of junk i can get my hands on.

My clothes are getting tight AGAIN, sigh....

I need to do something and quick!!~

    Hey Chicky!
The easiest way I personally found to get away from junk food/sweets.....was to get rid of them and get like stuff to nibble on that will satisfy your urge to "chew" , that's really all it is.....habit.
I eat a lot of banana's and stuff like Special K bars (delicious!) Nutri Grain Bars with yogurt on them (another delicious!) and they are chewy so it takes a while to eat, lots of yogurt, english muffins are great to snack on and filling.....Good luck, I really feel for you guys with the sweet tooth's! I have never had that problem, you could eat Twinkies in front of me all day long, I don't want one. BUT.....put an ice cold Bud in front of me (well before Jan. 1st) and I would walk across burning gravel to get it!!! We all have our own vices, but there is a solution for all if we look the right places.
Don't beat yourself up over this, I did the same thing. I weigh MORE NOW than I did when I started Sparks in Sept. 2009.....You're not alone.
Have a good day and leave your %$#@ alone!!! Hahahaha!
    Love ya!

Here are a couple thoughts that come to mind. Set yourself some mini-goals & rewards to get you motivated at working toward something! It helps me to stay focused and working toward my weight loss.

How do you feel about challenging yourself? Challenge yourself to not eat junk food tomorrow. Make those healthy choices. Once you make it through tomorrow you'll feel that sense of accomplishment & go for it the next day!

YOU are stronger than any emoticon temptation!!

A journey of a 1000 miles begins with a solitary step. Dip your toe in the water starting tomorrow and make a start, anyplace, even if it is a 2 block walk.

    best wishes.
