I am really not understanding this.....

I really dont understand what is going on i work really hard this week and only lost 1.2lbs. WTH. But you know this wont stop me from striving to reach my goals. I am on this journey to the end. I will just work a lil harder.

    Your metabolism changes on a week to week basis. Make sure you are eating enough, calories, drinking plenty of water and changing up your exercise routines from time to time.

    I had the same problem. It used to really stress me out. But everyone is right about muscle weighing more. Plus, the more weight you lose, the slower it goes. I purchased a fat percentage scale. You can get them for like $30. I don't feel bad when the pounds don't drop because I can see the fat percentage is going down even when the overall weight doesn't drop. Don't lose heart. We are all in this together!

    Also, remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so you might be 'gaining' muscle (a really good thing because it burns more fat), even if the pounds are not coming off. Check to see how your clothes fit - looser/more comfortably? Don't get 'stuck' on what the scale does/does not say. Hang in there!

    Don't knock 1.2 pounds of weight loss. Healthy weight loss should only be one to two pounds per week, no matter how much you have to lose. Keep making little changes so that progress can continue. You can do it!

    Hey, we all know that the scale does not always show us what we want it to.
    Don't get discouraged and down on yourself. The scale DOES NOT define who we are.

    Keep doing Healthy things for your body, it will respond in due time.
    You've done so well so far. Keep on keeping on.

    Don't give up! Just after the holidays I walked 10 miles a day for 4 days straight. Then I stepped on the scale and hadn't lost a thing! I was so frusterated! A week later though, the scale showed a 3 lb. loss. Give it time and keep up the good work. It will show itself in time!
