So, still no progress on the diet plan front BUT:
I have cooked two meals from scratch this week that were healthy.
I am using more vegetables and fresh ingredients.
My 10 minute SparkPeople DVDs arrived yesterday and I'm going to try one tomorrow.
I am still eating too much chocolate in the evenings.
I am snacking when I get home.
I am still eating to much full stop.
Tomorrow I'm going to sit down and firm up my goals, explore the diet plan available on the Sparkpeople website and make a shopping list. I hope to go shopping too!
I did join in the daily challenge for the 40 somethings with lots to lose group today and feel good about that. It was calf raises and man, could I feel the burn! I have been semi-cheating with noting my exercise as I have classed my walk to the ferry from work as exercise but this is nothing new and not really 10 minutes of exercise. I've set myself a goal to do 5 mini-challenges a week. And I AM going to stick to it!
Roll on 4pm as I want to start my weekend!
