Tired and lost a little focus

Sunday, March 06, 2011

Well, last night we went to our friends' and played Wii and drank too much! I also ate some cheese cake and had a big mac on the way home... Not good - and showed a lack of willpower.

Today we were naughty too and had fish and chips at an English place... I chose a little better though as I chose unbattered salmon rather than my usual English style cod and chips. I did eat the chips though... :o(

I feel quite uncomfortable now... and it's not a good feeling. A general uncomfortable stomach feeling and I just don't feel right. I should have looked more closely at the menu and chosen the salmon salad instead. Next time.

So, I am still sticking to my 10 minutes exercise minimum per day. We went for a 20-30 minute walk this morning. I'm also sticking to my 8 glasses of water each day.

Hopefully, I can be really careful for the rest of the week and not pay too much on the scales for the weekend. I need to focus on my mid-term goal of looking fabulous when we visit our friends in Australia in October. I CAN do this.... I WILL do this.

I need a massage as I have a very sore shoulder. I'm not used to this much exercise and I am doing all sorts of exercise that I haven't done in years and years, particularly on the wii fit. I remind myself often that I will soon start feeling the benefits of this exercise. These things take time but I have been doing the exercise streak for over 2 weeks now which is really great.

So, I'm now going to sit and relax. I'm super tired after last night's late one and being woken by our youngest very early. She has a bad cough. Our eldest got into bed with us very early and didn't let me sleep again so I'm exhausted.

Healthy dinner and tomorrow refocus and get back into it full speed ahead!
