Fingers crossed for movement on the scales in the right direction!

Well, I avoided my late night snacking mistakes yesterday – but perhaps going out for beef bourguignon, garlic mash and a glass of wine was not really a great strategy! However, it was good to catch up with a friend and I did take some of the meal back for Mark.

I weighed myself this morning and the 0.2kgs that I was down yesterday were back on so no weight loss this week so far... maybe it will be different tomorrow. I have to stop weighing myself more often than weekly... but I find it as tempting as licking the bowl when baking!

Tomorrow is my day off and I have planned some swimming, followed by some writing and then some online shopping (maybe of the window variety). I’m hoping to meet a friend for a coffee afterwards. I’m also going to finish my online grocery shopping tonight and book it in for delivery tomorrow morning, to arrive when I’m at home. I also want to do my visual collage and try to get my fat photos on my iPhone some how to help me get motivated – and stop this snacking nonsense.

I have done a bit of writing this week, my two exercises and tomorrow I hope to continue with my longer piece of work. I am hoping to develop it further, perhaps into novel length. I enjoy my day off as it gives me time to get myself organised and get some things ticked off my “To Do” list before the weekend starts.
