I’ve been doing some calculations – OK, I admit it... I’ve been a little bit bored at work!
So far I’ve lost 3.8kgs. This has been in 4 ½ weeks. An average of just over 0.8kgs a week. That’s great work but I know that I lost most of it in the first week.
If I can continue at this level until October (missing out one week for our holiday) I will weigh: 67.7kgs.
Ideally I would like to be 59.9kgs by 1st October which would mean a loss of: 1.1kg per week.
If I lose 1kgs per week, I would weigh: 62.5 which I would be more than happy with really.
I calculated my BMI too:
It was 34.7 and now it’s 33.3 which is quite a difference but I am still “obese”.
To get to “overweight” I need to lose 2.6kgs, which would be in just over 3 weeks at my current loss, or 2.5 weeks if I up my game a bit and lose 1kgs a week.
To get to the top of the “Normal” range I need to be 68.5kgs.
I think posting my calculations should help me focus. I can see that these results that I want are currently achievable as long as I don’t slip up. Hopefully this will keep me away from the peanuts!
