Back on Track

Monday, March 28, 2011

The start of another week, and so far it started well! I got up at 5.30am and did the Kick Boxing cardio workout with Coach Nicole. Not a bad start. I’m feeling a little stiff from camping and then packing and unpacking our tent trailer but overall not too bad.

I was bad at the weekend and broke streaks for tracking food, drinking water and being careful. I also ate a few too many chocolate covered raisins (they’re still fruit though?!?) and a couple too many cookies. But I didn’t eat ribs, like Mark and when we had McDonalds on the way home, I had a salad. I ate some salmon and crab cakes for dinners and I don’t think I did too badly. I had a few drinks but only 1 beer on Friday night, 2 Mike’s Hard Lemonades and ¾ bottle of wine on Saturday.

We didn’t walk as much as I was hoping, the weather wasn’t great, it was a bit grey and cold. We did walk quite a bit in shops though! ;o)

The campsite had an indoor pool and we were in there for a long time with the girls. I managed quite a few lengths in addition to playing with the girls.

So, for the rest of the week I will really try hard to push myself as I was hoping to weigh less than 86kgs by Friday, but that means losing 1.5kgs which is a big task. I don’t think I’ll make it but with any luck I can get into the 86 point something.

So, for the rest of the week I need to focus on keeping on track, drinking water, increasing exercise and NO snacking at night time! I hope to get 2 circuit training classes in this week. One tonight and one Wednesday. Hopefully we can also go swimming with the girls on Tuesday night, but we have a few things to do. I have switched my day off so I’m off tomorrow so I’ll go swimming in the morning.

Doing Wii Biggest Loser last night was fun too. Hopefully I can do a bit more of that in the evenings.

Right – back to work.
