Prioritizing my motivation

It’s Hump Day! Hooray! Although I had my day off yesterday instead of Friday as we’re going to be busy at work so I have to come in.
My 4 year old daughter had a fever on Monday at daycare so I kept her home yesterday which meant I couldn’t go for my big morning swim. However, I did an hour on Wii (a combination of wii fit Plus and Biggest Loser) and then managed to get in a 30 minute swim after Mark got home and before I had to get my 2 year old from daycare... so all in all, not a bad day. I did take my daughter to Starbucks though and had a skim peppermint hot chocolate (with easy whip) so that was my only naughtiness yesterday. I did have some cadbury’s mini-eggs as desert. 190 calories and 8g fat was more than enough for me! I love it when there are single serves of chocolates like that, or ice-creams like the Skinny Cows as it really helps to work out if I have the “space” for them.
I’m frustrated about not having Friday off... I’ve not done my writing exercises for last week or this week. I am finding that my motivation seems to be prioritized with my exercising and weight loss at the moment and getting slim for October. I also received lots of DVDs I’d requested from the library on Monday and only have a week to watch them... probably not the best use of my time but they are mainly TV series that I’ve been wanting to watch (Saving Grace season 3 and Damages).
Mark’s going snowboarding at the weekend so I probably won’t get any swims in. Hopefully I can get some wii fit and biggest loser in to make up for it. I was going to go to the Circuit training class tonight but my body is a little stiff so I think I’ll skip it. I did a 10 minute Coach Nicole DVD workout this morning so I am able to tick off my daily goal and haven’t broken my streak yet!
