Mini goals set! Go Team Smithy Go!!!

This afternoon at work, I was working on some spreadsheets and reporting... and again, my mind crept onto my weight loss targets and being fit, healthy, slim and able to buy a lovely wedding outfit for October’s trip to Australia.
I used excel to build further on my calculations I did a week or so ago. If I lose 1kgs per week, I will be 0.5kgs away from my goal of being in the 50s. Not bad and not totally unrealistic as long as I continue to focus and avoid night time snacking!
I also looked at my 10%, 20% and 30% body weight goals and if I stick to 1kgs per week I will reach them:
10% by 20th April
20% by 1st July
30% by 2nd September
1/3rd of my body weight by 23rd September
Now that’s exciting!!! I’ve saved my spreadsheet and will keep updating it. It has a column for weights per week at a loss of 1kgs per week and then an “actual” column too. As long as I keep focussing on my results I hope to get there.
I’ve listed more goals below, for percentages, the big numbers and the half big numbers...
19 Feb 2011 Start 92.3 (BMI = 34.7)
25 Mar 2011 Current 87.4 (BMI = 32.9)
Goal 1: 10% = 83.07
Goal 2:’70s= 79.9
Goal 3: BMI is 29.9 Overweight = 79.5
Goal 4: 75
Goal 5: 20% = 73.84
Goal 6: ‘60s = 69.9
Goal 7: BMI is 24.9 Normal = 66.2
Goal 8: 65
Goal 9: 30% =64.61
Goal 10: 1/3rd = 61.53
Final Goal: ‘50s = 59.9
That’s 11 goals in all. As long as I keep focus I am sure I will get there. I’ve added them to my Spark Page so they will stay in my eyesights.
So, it’s “weigh day” tomorrow. It’s that time of the month so I’m not holding out a great deal of hope for my 1kgs, it might have to be an average of a couple of weeks. I also have to work tomorrow, which is a shame as I will miss my Friday morning swim. I won’t get one at the weekend either with Mark going away snowboarding. Ho hum – the Wii is going to get lots of use this weekend!
