Hard work weekend...

Sunday, April 03, 2011

Well, the girls were incredibly difficult yesterday. I have them by myself this weekend as Mark is in Whistler, snowboarding with some friends.

Gwenna kept falling over and hurting herself (she's 2.5) and spent a lot of the day crying. She did a 360 down the stairs too... I was at the bottom and she fell down turning the whole way, it was incredibly frightening and I was sure we were going to be heading to the hospital but amazingly I caught her just at the bottom and she was OK, just shaken up. It happens so fast... what can you do!

She was very tired, I think that's what the problem was. She'd gotten up at midnight and got into bed with us but moved all night and no one got a really good night's sleep.

I took them to the farm park with our friends, but they soon got tired and hungry so we went to the cafe afterwards. I bought them a scone but they didn't eat much of it... so I ate some, but I did track it.

I also baked some banana choc chip muffins from a SparkRecipe which were quite good. I have to bring muffins to the neighbourhood easter egg hunt in a couple of weeks. I don't think they were good enough for the neighbours though, so I'll try another recipe. My daughters definitely liked them though, especially Kerensa.

This morning I've already done my 10 minutes Fit, Firm and Fired Up! More wii fit later I think! Oh, and Sunday is the day I do my "Biggest Loser" weigh in! It's just like the show!
