Time to blog and talk to the inner me...

So, I didn’t get up this morning because I felt so stiff. I got out of bed at 5.30am but my shoulder was so sore I didn’t fancy doing my workout until I had used it a bit more so I’ve post-poned my exercise until I get home and I will do some Wii fit or Biggest Loser. I’ve booked in for a massage on Friday so that should help. Both my daughters got into our bed last night and I didn’t have a lot of room – or a pillow. Hopefully they will stay in their own beds tonight! I’m tired!

I was a bit naughty yesterday and weighed myself... down from Friday so that was good to see. I was also a bit naughty with my credit card and bought some beauty products and some new Sketchers Shape Up shoes for work – they’re not like sneakers, but are plain black leather and look like regular shoes but with chunky soles. I’ve been wearing them today in the office and one is a little tighter than the other and is making my foot a little sore but it’s just new shoes. I think they will be fine.

Today at work I’ve been a bit more focussed than Monday but still fairly slack. I’d better buck my ideas up. I think I will plan out tomorrow – allocating time to planning and the current work I have on my plate. I’ve not been very hungry and have not really eaten much of my snack allowance. That’s good as I was a bit naughty yesterday after dinner.

We have decided to go camping again, the weekend after next. It will be nice to get out and about. Hopefully the weather will be half decent and I can get some hiking in.

I walked past a designer boutique this morning (as I do every day I go to work) and have decided to reward myself if I am close to goal in October with a nice, relatively expensive wedding outfit for my friend and my brother’s weddings. I still have to create my visual collage and perhaps a wedding photo of slim people in designer outfits would be a good start!

I also read some more of the How not to look Old Book yesterday and am thinking about ways to look younger and hipper and not old lady. When I hit 10% I'm going to treat myself to a hair cut... and get a fringe (bangs) cut in. It will hide my forehead wrinkles!

Book club tonight so that should keep me distracted and away from the chocolate covered raisins! We’re getting a babysitter on Saturday and are going out for dinner and drinks. I will make good choices, eat carefully for the rest of Saturday and also on Friday and Sunday to give myself some extra room.
