Camping - in the snow?!?
Thursday, April 14, 2011
Today I got up again and did Nicole’s 80s workout... I should be more adventurous and try one of the new 10 minute workout dvds that arrived last Friday from amazon. I get nervous trying new routines before work though as if they run longer, I’m in trouble!
We are going camping tomorrow and I heard on the radio this morning that it is snowing at our destination in WA! Hopefully the forecast is correct and it will get warmer and a bit drier – although I’m sure the girls will love being in the snow, if there’s any left.
I will have to be super-strong this time and not snack and eat chocolates if Mark buys any. Last time he bought a big tub of chocolate covered raisins (they’re fruit – right?) and I ended up picking at them for weeks afterwards. I will tell him not to get anything like that this time. I’m hoping we’ll get to go out for some exercise on Saturday somewhere, shopping doesn’t really count unfortunately.
I’m feeling quite stiff in my shoulders still, it’s frustrating as I would like to push myself a bit more but I feel tired and stiff. I have the day off tomorrow so can go for a swim which will hopefully loosen me up a bit. I love starting the day with a swim.
I went to bed fairly late last night which was a bit silly. I was watching Glee as I have a few dvds that need to go back to the library on Tuesday. Perhaps I can take a couple with me and we can watch them on Friday or Saturday night – or I can watch them if it’s raining and Mark wants to have a campfire! What is it with men and fire!
Anyway, I’d better get off to the lunchroom for my Smart Ones Chicken fettucine and no sugar no fat yoghurt... then it will be about 3 hours left in the office before I can go home!
After comments from my last blog, I think I will make sure to ask for half serves for meals on our cruise... maybe not for breakfast as I will make good choices there but I would like to try a lot of the dishes so if I stick to the plan and ask for half serves with dressings and sauce on the side I can have my small piece of cake and eat it!
