Gained a little...

Friday, April 15, 2011

It was weigh day today and I'm up 0.2kgs so obviously going out to dinner with a friend, drinking too much and dancing doesn't work!!! Neither does night time snacking... so I will have to cut down on that and be way more strict with myself. I certainly did enough exercise this week.

However, I also measured my waist and I'm down another 6cms (that's in about a month) so that was good news. Oh - I just checked, I last measured my waist on the 5th so that's 6cm in 10 days!!! That is amazing! So, I should not be downhearted about my weight... I must admit that the new jeans I just bought (and spent time turning up - grrr!) are already too big... luckily they were in the sale but unluckily I bought two pairs. I will have to wash and dry them on hot to see if I can shrink them... but that will probably also shrink the length. Bah humbug.

Anyway, a semi-good start to the weekend. Today I've got a busy morning starting with my swim after dropping the girls off. I also have to pack for our camping adventure...

Luckily our tent trailer has an effective heater - as it's freezing this morning and I will have to scrape the ice off the car! It snowed yesterday! Hopefully the snow will have cleared by the time we get to our destination as it snowed there too! But the shopping will be good! I want to buy a new laptop as I'm not able to use mine each night as Mark watches streaming TV on it. I've done a bit of research and I think I'll get him one with a bigger screen but not an apple as he just doesn't need one for watching TV and surfing craigslist!

Anyway, time to get on... the packing won't do itself and by the looks of it, the girls won't feed themselves either!
