Damage Limitation

I just realised that I haven’t blogged since Friday which is pretty slack of me really.

I weighed myself this morning and I’m the same as Friday, so not bad considering the weekend – and then I stupidly bought some sugar free chocolate covered almonds – and ate the whole lot yesterday! I know not to have that kind of stuff in the house! Sugar free unfortunately doesn’t mean calorie or fat free. I know this.

I’m feeling a bit tired and down-hearted as I’m starting to get a cold. Vitamin C tablets, large grapefruit and Cold FX are hopefully going to help stop it from getting worse. I’m also tired – my little one woke up with wet pjs as her diaper had slipped so I had to get up and change her at 3.45am and then she was in bed with us, wanting to cuddle... cute but grrr!

I need to get back with the program and fast. I was hoping to get to my 10% goal before we go on our holiday on 3rd May but that’s not going to happen now. Hopefully I can maintain on holiday and then get back to hard core workouts and eating plans until October!

Work is a bit more challenging (=interesting) at the moment, which is good although motivationally, I’m a little low. I do think it’s the tiredness though.

I’m looking forward to the long weekend although will probably go over my calories as we are going out for St George’s day drinks and pub grub on Saturday and on Friday I’m going to a neighbour’s to help get things prepared for the kids for the neighbourhood Easter Egg Hunt and will be taking a bottle of wine... I guess planning and trying to squeeze in some additional exercise will help to limit the damage.
