Up My Game - Lose the Gain!!!

Time for an after cruise blog...
So, I ate and drank too much (but not enough water!) and didn’t step inside the gym! It’s time to dust my gym shoes off, fill up my water bottle and get my tracking happening!
It was a fun holiday although I am still feeling the swaying of the ship so it’s like I’m still on holiday! My daughters had fun and the shows were great. Day two was not great and I was really sea sick but the rough seas abated and we were steady away for the rest of the trip.
But now I am back to normal – and I had an unofficial weigh in yesterday and I had gained a whopping 2.8kgs (over 6lbs) since my last weigh in. Whoops! I can feel it too... my belly feels tight – as do my pants. I feel “blocked” (sorry for TMI!) and uncomfortable. Hopefully I can get back on track and back to normal with more veggies and fruits and a normal eating pattern. We got back on Tuesday morning and I still feel uncomfortable... not good.
This weekend we’re going camping but I’m not going to drink alcohol. Detox for me! I will try to make good food choices... sorry, I WILL make good food choices and I will focus on my water intake. I have not yet started exercising again. With my belly feeling so uncomfortable and still feeling like I’m on the cruise ship, I just can’t face it. I will get back into it on Monday with my circuit training class. I’ve also signed up for a 6 week Zumba class on reading another SP member’s blog about their Zumba session. Hopefully my knee won’t be too impacted. I will have to dig out my knee stretchy support thingy.
So, camping in the US again and some shopping. I will get some new workout clothes while I’m there as what I currently have is neither flattering (what is at my size?) or practical (t-shirt is a bit short, pants fall down).
October is getting ever closer so I must up my game and lose the gain! ;o) Ha ha - that can be my title for today’s blog! I will have to look at my spreadsheet tomorrow after my official weigh in and see whether I can put in some hard core weeks to burn extra fat to try to recover a little but my target for October will have to be a few kilos heavier I think... It’s my fault. But I have to be realistic and aim for realistic mini-goals along the way. My dates keep getting pushed out. I will have to work on my visual collage next week. I have Friday off next week so will do it then. I will start looking for pictures until then so I can use them all next week.
