Am I waiting for it all to click – or is it clicking into place around me...

Tomorrow is my day off and I’m looking forward to some quiet, reflection time to review my goals and re-prioritize what I’m doing.

I’m focussing more on my nutritional balance, including some new breakfast ideas as I have hardly any protein there so I’m probably missing a trick!

I need to look at my writing again. OK, so I entered a competition but that still doesn’t make me the writer that I want to be. I need to focus and get my priorities in order. I am spending more and more time exercising but what else am I doing... I think I will try to keep a “diary” of what I actually do at home so I can see how much TV I am watching and whether there are any tasks I can hand over or relegate.

It’s weigh day tomorrow and I’m hoping that I’ve lost a bit more since Tuesday, although it wasn’t that long ago and I weighed in the morning after a 10 minute workout and I’d done the circuit training class the night before.

This week I started the Spring Bootcamp challenge and although I’m only on day 3, I’m motivated to see it through! I don’t think that the exercise component is really a problem for me, it’s the food side of things. This is a real turnaround for me as usually I didn’t do any exercise.

I hope all of you on Spark People are having a good Thursday and you all have a great weekend. I hope to get outside in the sunshine (hoping that the forecasters are wrong!) and have some fun!

    im re-starting the bootcamp videos tomorrow from week two where i left off cause i stopped doing the videos so we will roughly be at the same place :) we will have to motivate each other to stick to it cause i know im ok with the foot and cardio but its doing the videos that i struggle with! something about exercising in front of the computer wierds me out and my stupid ebay purchase of the resistance bands STILL hasnt arrived grr!!!
    hows increasing the protein going? i've been trying to add and egg or two with breakfast :)

    Eggs and egg whites are a great source of protein in the morning. I usually eat a slice of whole wheat bread with some peanut butter, or add some peanut butter to a smoothie. I'm so proud of you for doing the Bootcamp challenge! Keep up the awesome work!
