Just say NO to Ex(er)cuses!

I love Mondays because I work at 2 different WW meetings and love both of them! Our topic this week focuses on exercising and different "exercuses" people come up with to not workout.

While I can come up with several exercuses for myself (time, tummy issues, weather, etc...) I thought what kind of role model would I be if I didn't practice what I preach?!

So while I only have a couple hours off in between meetings, I came home and changed into a running outfit. I cranked on the treadmill and figured I could try out this speed workout that I read about a couple months ago:

5 minute warm-up walk

5 minute run @ 6 mph
4 minute run @6.5 mph
3 minute run @7 mph
2 minute run @ 7.5 mph
1 minute run @8 mph
Repeat

5 minute cool-down walk
----------

This was a GREAT workout, only took 40 minutes total, and the perfect way to make the dreaded TM more enjoyable ;)

So how about it? Will YOU say NO to exercuses today?!
