Feb. 3, 4, 5- Training for Cert camp - time is flying by..

...too quickly! Goodness, I only have about 4 real weeks of training and then I need to rest the few days before camp.

Here is what I have been doing:

Feb. 3: Took a live Tae Bo class with Melanie from 9:30-10:30AM then she worked with me to prepare for camp. We did a whole bunch of 1 min tests, learned a few moves, drilled and then she had me teach a sample class for 2 min, I got screwed up but thats ok, I was nervous.

1 Min Test Results:
Push Up Test: 42
Sit Ups: 31
Knee Raise w/Side Kick: 41 Left, 38 Right
Roundhouse Kick: 39 Left, 40 Right

This was a very good time and helped me see some things that I need to keep working on.

Feb. 4: I did Amped Fat Burning Accelerator with the Amplifier bar, great workout, hubby even joined me for the first 20 min of it. Then I did 35 min of Tae Bo Total Advanced 2 for a good cardio workout.
Then I did some push ups and crunches.

Feb. 5: Today, I had circuit class with Najib. He noted that he could tell I am working hard but still had some areas for improvement, including my round house and where I look. I look too much at the ground he pointed out. Whew, my upper body was sore after this workout, did a lot of reps of presses, bicep curls, squats and such.
