Has anyone seen my mojo?

My vegetarianism (hmm, is that a word?) has been going great. Today was Day 10 and I've had absolutely no meat cravings at all. It also seems to have significantly helped my tummy issues! Yay!

On the other hand, my running mojo has all but completely vanished lately :(

I decided to start back at step one and so I joined the Spark 5k training team/program. I think it was 2 nights ago that I joined, and since then I've been sitting here (well, in between work, errands, shopping and cooking, etc...) waiting for my mojo to magically reappear.

It hasn't happened.


So tonight I thought "Screw you, Mojo!" and I went running without it ;)

    Mojo is a fickle friend to say the least! I have been struggling too and since the weather is hot and my allergies are so bad I went back to the gym where I have at least two fans blowing on me and I can watch tv while I run. The great thing about the gym is that I get to do weight training also, something that is hard to do when running on trails outside!

    Ya know, I've kinda been feeling the same way. School is done. I have no races scheduled until December. The weather is unbearably hot in Florida. I had to walk about 2 miles out of my 7.53 run (was supposed to be 8) yesterday.

    So I too got out without my mojo and did a little 2 mile run. I think I'm going to do it again tomorrow and the day after and. . .

    Something's gotta give!
