My Changing Life

I'm participating in the BLC21. One of the items on our weekend challenge is to journal or blog about, "How will your life change when you reach your fitness/weight goal? How will you feel?"
'tis a wonderment.
My life, up to this point in time, is nothing like I expected it to be. That's neither good nor bad, most days. It's just very different. I learned a long time ago that my expectations were not going to happen. I adjusted, and made new plans. That's important, that adjustment part. You see, if I had tried to stay on just that one narrow path I had originally outlined for myself, I would have missed out on SO many of wonderful things I've experienced so far in this life. Sure, there have been difficulties and sorrows, but that is a part of life. It doesn't define it. So, I adjust, take stock, make new plans, make changes, and continue living.
I have no idea how I will feel once I've reached my fitness and weight goals. I have even less of an idea of how my life will change, if at all. Oh, there have already been changes, but I'm thinking that THAT is definitely going to be an ongoing process, even after I've reached my goal weight. I am able to do more now, than what I was able to do 6 months ago, and even 1 month ago. I feel better than I did 6 months ago. I have more energy. I have more stamina, and that is improving! I am able to participate more in the things I enjoy doing, and I continue to want to try new exercises and fitness activities.
No, I really have no idea what changes lie in store for me. But I am sure of one thing. There will continue to be many more changes ahead, and I am looking forward to them!
