Baby Shower Blues

I went to a baby shower today, and needless to say, even after trying to eat small portions and make smarter choices I STILL went over my calorie goal. ARGH!

I swear, I just can't A. Go out to eat and B. Eat around groups. They lead to issues with me staying on track! emoticon

I can only blame myself, but I need to figure out a way to solve and conquer this. I know I'm eating WAY less calories than I ever would have before in these situations, but I still haven't "gotten it under control" in a way that I would be proud of.

Any suggestions?

    Be sure to eat a light mini-meal with protein prior to going. Perhaps you won't feel so tempted.
