Early Start

I've noticed our dog, Lula, a wheaten terrier, tends to be more sluggish, moody, and just sad if she doesn't go for regular walks. I've been doing a pretty good job of taking her for a walk every couple of days, however, the past few days have been brutal as far as heat & humidity are concerned. It's been to the point where I'm afraid to take her out in it because I know how much she hates hot weather and tends to act like she's dying.

I made it a point this morning to wake up extra early, so I could take her for a walk while it was still relatively cool outside. Granted the humidity was still a lot for her to handle. She was panting up a storm while going up a gradual hill in our neighborhood. However, she seemed geniunely pleased when we got home, and she was happy throughout the day. The added bonus, was I got a walk in too.

Later in the morning I went for a hair appointment, ran some errands, came home for a healthy lunch, and cleaned up to go tutor some students.

After tutoring, I made a healthy meal, relaxed a bit, then did my workout.

I took my measurements today. I can't say I saw much of a difference on any of them except my hips (lost an 1 1/2 inches). All-n-all I'd sum it up as a pretty good day! emoticon
