Currently, I'm soaking my feet/arches/ankles in a hot tub of water with epsom salt to soothe the aches and pains in them.
This morning I woke up, ate a quick breakfast, and made sure to do my workout prior to getting cleaned up. I had to make sure to do my workout first thing in the morning, otherwise I knew I'd never fit it in on a Saturday.
My husband, my mother-in-law, and my husband's cousin all went to a large Art Fair. Apparently it is one of the largest in the midwest, so needless to say, we were walking around today for HOURS. There were lots of street-type vendors with junk/fast foods. I tried to keep my meal somewhat healthy with fish tacos, and followed it up with a Lemon Chill (rather than Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream). It was still a cool treat (which was needed in the sweltering heat), without too many calories.
After coming home, we went to the store, picked up some veggies/dip and a dessert to take over to a friend's house for dinner. We ended up having filet mignon, ceasar salad, and the veggies/dip. I even allowed myself a couple of glasses of wine (it's been SO long since I've had a drink!). We stayed there until a little bit ago - most of the evening involved laughing at and playing with our friend's 8 month old baby girl. Honestly, the sweetest baby I've ever seen. . .
For some reason, today wore me OUT. My mind is completely awake, but my body is just dead tired. I suppose that means, at 11:27pm (right now), I should probably stop typing and go to bed! I just had to track my calories for the day.
