November Goals {and October Recap}

Saturday, November 02, 2013

I knew October would be a busy month so I only had one major goal: 1250 fitness minutes or bust. And even though everything conspired against me (especially my own self) to keep me from my goal I'm happy to say that I did 1356 fitness minutes last month. Woohoo!!

And the best part? I lost 1.5 inches and about seven pounds as well! {Happy dance!!}

I am so close to hitting onederland -- just 7.4 pounds to go. I would LOVE to get there by the beginning of December, although my real goal is to be in the 190s by the end of the year.

So. With that out of the way, what are my goals for November?

>> Participate in the #Fit2Feast Spark challenge. (Basically making sure I have at least 10 minutes of activity every day until Thanksgiving... I'm shooting for every day in November though.) Sundays will be the hardest day for me to achieve this goal.
>> 1,500 fitness minutes. Aerobic, strength; whatever. So long as it gets done!
>> More variance to my workout. I love walking (it's my fave form of exercise) but I do need to expand my horizons a bit. At least once a week I will do a Zumba, Leslie Sansone, or elliptical workout (or anything else that strikes my fancy).
>> Track my nutrition every day. Even if I don't get it into Spark (which I seldom do anyway) I want to keep a journal of what I eat everyday.
>> Successfully lose 5% of my body weight for my 5% challenge (GO CLOVERLEAFS!). I have about four more pounds to go on that.

And there ya have it -- my challenging but attainable goals for November. Stay tuned, folks! lol

    I have never seen the term "onderland"- LOVE IT! Also love the tip from LKS2GAB2 about using your phone to track. You're doing great, and an inspiration to the rest of the cloverleaf team. I'm certain you'll have a successful November! emoticon

    You can do it. You proved that last month in spite of the obstacles. Good job! I find that if I can't track my food, or just don't want to, I take a picture w/my phone and track it later. That way I do not get food amnesia.LOL

    You can do this Molly! Good luck! I know I find it very hard to get my 10,000 steps in at home on the weekends good thing for folding laundry LOL!

    emoticon on achieving those October goals!

    I thought about doing the Fit2Feast challenge but I am totally illiterate about FB, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. Also, I am terrible about recording on my Streaks so it always looks like I'm not doing what I'm suppose to be doing.

    I miss having you on the Firecrackers, but I will root for you just the same, Molly.
