I've done pretty well with moderate weight gain thus far in the pregnancy. My starting BMI suggested a weight gain of 15(ha!)-25 .lbs during pregnancy. I've considered this to be no easy feat, considering EVERY woman I know (besides my mom) gained MORE than 25 .lbs during pregnancy. emoticon My Mom, damn her, gained only 25 with my older sibling and 20 with me. *Sigh*

I'm 20 weeks now, and I've gained 10 .lbs. Supposedly this is within the limits of weight gain to stay on track for the 15-25 .lbs. However, I have a feeling keeping my weight gain in moderation will be harder from here on out. The reason being is that my stomach has started to growl uncontrollably every few hours. emoticon The baby is HUNGRY! I'm just imagining a deep growly voice radiating from my stomach saying, "FEEEEED MEEEEE.... FEEEEEEDDDD MEEEEE". lol

I guess I should try to stick with "weight loss eating methods" (no - I'm not trying to lose weight). What I mean is, I should focus on eating foods that will make me feel fuller, longer. The foods that are dense, hold water, have lots of fiber... you know... those foods. Well, I'll try emoticon

    You can do it momma!

I also gained FAR more than the recommended weight with BOTH my pregnancies. I found that I put MOST of my weight on in the final trimester.

It will be ok though because you have us to come back to for help, motivation and support!

    Beautiful belly momma!
