Doing EGGstra and other things
Saturday, April 05, 2014
I have been spring cleaning by doing something EGGstra challenge in the Weight Watcher team. I got four hours of cleaning done yesterday. I have a lot to do as I have put it off for so long.
Today some ladies from our church and I went to one of our church family and plant flowers for them. The man has Cancer and the lady who is my Aunt has been caring not only for him but also another Aunt that has Alzheimer's. Of course she just doesn't have time to plant her flowers. We all had a great time and my Aunt was so happy to have her flower beds cleaned and planted.
I live 20 miles from town and with gas being so high I just go to town one or two days a week. I usually work out with the exercise videos on Youtube and/or one of the DVD's.
My husband is retired with a disability. He got electrocuted while working as a lineman in 1998. Every since then he started have periods of hand tremors and severe headaches that progressively got worse through the years. They seem to get worse when He is under stress. He has been check several times for Parkinson's and the Doctors have ruled that out. We have biological son who is 28 and three adopted children, a daughter who is 26, another who is 23 and a son that is 22. We have 5 grandchildren. We are raising our oldest grandson and he is 6 years old. Up until last year I help take care of my Mother as she had medical problems all my life. I did work about 20 years as a secretary up until we adopted the children in 1999 and 2000. They were 10, 8 and 7 years old when we adopted them and had been in the Foster care years. With a lot of prayers we finally got them raised and graduated from High School.
I am kind of a basket case that still draws strength from our Lord Jesus Christ. I get up every morning asking God to help me do good and make good choices.
