Recovery Plan

Monday, May 12, 2014

My recovery plan really is about when I over-indulge on a weekend, which happens frequently.

To recover:
I will do additional exercise, mostly walking.
I will track every other day so that I am in control of what I'm eating.
I will save alcohol for the weekends only. It is not a 4 day weekend!
I won't let one bad day turn into two, three or four.
I will move on from mistakes, learning from them and working out how my body reacts to mistakes to try to limit the damage.

Sounds like a lot of different things to work out in one plan, Good luck. You need to focus on either the major or minor areas and knock some of those out first and try not to tackle all of them at once.

I think your promise not to let one bad day turn into two, three, or four is one we should all make because one bad day is not going to set you back. Keep adopting healthy as your new reality. You'll get there! Good luck with your recovery plan! emoticon

    Hi there.

I had a similar indulgent weekend. I've realized you can't change every part of your life at one time so I am focusing more on activity and less on the food for now. Once I get and feel healthier I might be able to withstand hunger pangs and temptation better. Good luck this week.
