Silly Pome of the Day 1

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

Okay. Time to get silly. (See my blog from November 29, 2013 for the importance of silliness.)

To the tune of "The Star Spangled Banner"

There are kitties in here;
And they drank my root beer;
And they ate all my chips
And devoured all my dips.
All my cheesecake is gone;
And the stereo's on.
They are dancing around;
And the cookies can't be found;
'Cause they ate them all up;
And they tied up the pup!
Oh, those cats are so wild
Like a two-year-old child.
Oh, say, have you seen those kitties with my cake?
'Cause they ate everything else, and I have a headache!

    Thanks! I'm glad it was a joke! Not sure where he got it, but I didn't see any emails about it.

    Cute poem!

    Your husband is wrong -- you can't buy medical marijuana food items with food stamps. Here's the link if you want to cut and paste it to read the whole article.

    The original story appeared in The National Report, which is a site that specializes in political satire. (It was a JOKE!)

    Here's what the National Report says on their "disclaimer" page:

    "National Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways. All news articles contained within National Report are fiction, and presumably fake news. Any resemblance to the truth is purely coincidental."
