Day 258 Sidetracked not blogging! Leaving things up to God.

Tuesday, May 03, 2016

Wow I noticed I haven't been blogging and it feels better to do it. My son won the gold against junior high students in kumite and some of them were wearing plastic shin pads. My son was bruised but was extremely tough but couldn't move his arm after two days. Did karate today and our sensei will talk to the other one, stating the obvious that it is not in the rules. Since I am not a sensei have to leave it up to him. What was interesting as well is my son was playing with a group of 5 nice kids. The school bully tried to fight him two weeks ago and lost bad. Brought his mom and she was using the move abusive language towards the nicest kids of both genders. Weird how it seems to be a phenomen that the parents of bullies back their kids the hardest. I questioned the mom who tried bullying me and told her she can't say stuff like that to students. No filter on this mom and took off when I pointed out that it was great modelling in front of her kid and she tells everyone she can't understand why her kid acts out like that. Apparently all the kids noticed and were disgusted at this, kid actually hid out of sight the whole day. The principal just covers up but important to leave God control this as well. My part was to stop the abuse that small kids were recieving from a grown up. Feels great to put my feelings down.

My hubby and I have experience facing a bully's parents when our daughter was about seven at the playground. The bully (a girl) threw wood chips at my daughter's eyes who came crying to my hubby (her dad) and dad asked her which kid did it. Daughter pointed the girl out and hubby watched her until she went to her parents. My hubby confronted them that their child was misbehaving. Both parents said it was none of my hubby's business and why is my hubby bothering them. Hubby explained that this kind of behavior is unacceptable on a playground. Then they got angry and bully's dad said that it's only wood chips. My hubby responded by saying, "Open your eyes and I will get a handful of wood chips and throw it in your face and see how you feel!" He shut up and walked away. A little later, bully's mom apologized.

Leaving to God is the best way to go.
