Finally - the room is finished!

All of you on my different teams know that our project so far this summer was to renovate the bedroom that we made into an office when we built the garage. Norm wanted to rip out the light beige carpet and put in hardwood floors.
I decided to post pictures in a blog so all my teams can see them.
This is the door that goes out to the garage. It is a small room and my desk fits perfectly on this wall.
This wall is behind me when I sit at my desk. The door goes to a nice closet that we have converted with shelves for storage on each end. We left the middle of the closets to hang coats.
This is the front wall. We added new blinds and the white valance. I had to shut the blinds to get a decent picture.
The fourth wall to the inside of the house is pretty much completely the new Entryway Cubbie that Norm built. The door you see here leads into the rest of the house.
I know I have complained about the colors we chose and how loud and crazy they are. BUT, Norm and I are both coming to accept and even enjoy the new colors. The floors are called GunMetal Oak and I love them! The seat on the entryway cubbie is also the same hardwood and the baskets we chose go perfectly, like it was made for them!
This is my room where I go for "me" time. I know a lot of my Spark Friends have a sewing room they call their SheCave. Now I have a SheCave of my own.
Well, not completely! My constant companion has staked out her place and if I'm not careful, she'll take possession of my room!
