Adventures in Tae Bo

Sunday, August 28, 2016

As some of you already know, I had a major cleaning overhaul of my house. emoticon I now have a workout room. In the room I have my elliptical and my Nordic track. emoticon I also have a small TV and a VCR. Remember those? I have been watching movies while I work out. Then I thought to myself: wouldn't it be nice to have workout tapes to use?! Now I didn't have high expectations as I know the VCR is going to be obsolete and so will the tapes. I went to a local resale shop run by Habitat for Humanity. As I was looking I came across several Tae Bo tapes. emoticon I decided to buy the advanced one as it was 57 minutes and gave me the most minutes for a whole whopping 33 cents. emoticon This morning I tried it out. I really liked it. Now if Billy Blanks is scheduling a come back, you will not see me in any of the videos as I was no where near as coordinated as those people. I think I might go back and buy some of the other videos I saw. There was a Walk away the pounds video and an Irish dancing workout that I thought sounded interesting. I felt good after I did it and I broke a sweat. Might as well go with the equipment that I have and use that VCR while it still works.

Brilliant! If you feel like upgrading any time to a DVD player, check out collage video. I have several high quality (though sadly unused) exercise videos through them. Their employees to all the videos before they decide to sell them.

Great idea. Enjoy your VCR tapes. You may be visiting that store soon to get some smaller clothes.

Woohoo. I have a bunch of vhs workout tapes. I might have to dust off the vhs player and hope it works.
