It is getting worse!

Thursday, March 22, 2018

Work is slowly getting worse. In January my department moved over to Outpatient services from Emergency Services. I thought it was going to be a good move, but it wasn't. Then in January Ohio went through Behavioral Health Redesign and my life was turned upside down. There are all of these rules that need to be followed and billing is a mess. I was told that since we moved over to Outpatient we now had a productivity standard. I have to bill 5 hours a day. The new boss gave me options which I was not too happy with any of them. She wanted me to make a decision. I had asked her several questions which were never answered. I decided not to make the decision without the information. I then found ways to make up the time and received permission from one of the departments to bill crisis interventions. The new boss turned it down. I was then voluntold that I would be a casemanager along with my role as group facilitator. I was devastated. I need to schedule people after group. This does not take in to consideration the mountain of paperwork that I need to do. I have been calling my people and only 4 of them have been seen. I have been keeping track of everything that I do because the new CO wants people written up if they do not maintain productivity. The agency received a grant to teach sign language. I signed up for it and the new boss took me off the list because I am not meeting productivity. No one else is expected to be at full productivity when they start a new position but I am being asked to accomplish this. Any advice and suggestions is greatly appreciated. I have been stressing over this so much my eczema flared up. I have been looking for another job. I had an interview but I did not get the job. There has to be something better out there.

I think you are doing your best, and that is all anyone can ask of you. I think you should keep looking for a better job and just cover your tracks and try to do your best at your current job until you can find something new. I'm praying for you that something better comes along.
