5% Winter Challenge day 4 of blogging

Hi everyone,

Today my exercise is completed earlier in the day. I sometimes wonder what i should be reporting as exercise. All movement or what in my mind is exercise like: walking, running, yoga, lifting weights or does it include getting up and moving?

This challenge gives one point for every exercise minute, up to 120 minutes per day. So for this challenge, for me it has to be genuine physical exercise minutes. Not always as easy as it sounds.

I will say it is self rewarding and exhilarating when you get it done. It's ok to break it up throughout the day or do it all at once. It all counts and your body is soaking it up. Standing or chair exercises, it counts! Is it hard, sometimes. Is it helping, oh yes! Now to stay focused and reach for that star๐ŸŒŸ that has my name on it. Let's do our best today ....whatever the amount!

Exercise - Done
Blogging - Done
NEE (no evening eating) I am having a late dinner with my son, so hoping the nibble attack is crushed for this evening!

    Isn't it fun to see that list of your own blog postings grow? I have gone through spurts over the years. And I end up going back through some of my blog posts here and there. Keep it up. You are doing great! Hope you had fun with your son at dinner. --Angie

    P.S. I got out an old fitbit and have been wearing it to record my everyday movement. That way I can feel like I am getting "credit" for extra footsteps. With the fitbit on, I find myself willing to hop up and put in an extra load of laundry, or hop up and do some quick task. I end up just logging exercise minutes where I am in a class, have consciously gone outside to move (even pick up sticks in the yard).. But that';s just me. emoticon

    Any and all movement should be considered "exercise" (well, maybe no knitting!). When we move we burn calories. Good going!
