Hard work & discipline paid off

A week ago my weigh-in was a disappointing (but not unexpected) gain of 1½ lbs, after a week of many poor choices. I vowed to learn from it and use it as motivation.
This week I only went off track really badly one day. I struggled many nights (I'm a night time snacker) fought the cravings as best as I could and won more often than not. This morning I was rewarded with a scale victory of 3½ lbs LOST!!!
As I'm only a month into this and tip the scales quite significantly (a number I still find embarrassing to disclose) I realize this kind of weight loss will not be sustained but, after last weeks gain, I am going to relish this one a little bit.
