This has been the year of chaos for me ( and millions of others I'm sure) lets see, heart surgery, having to put my son in a group home, covid, homelessness, and more. I've sat on this last 25 lbs for a very long time.
I refuse to say I'm staritng over though. I've continued to show up, first it meant showing up for every job interview I could after covid took not one but 2 jobs away from me ( no, not everyone got unemployment) and I showed up to find stable housing again...things that make it a lot easier to buy and cook healthy foods.
I won't be doing 5 beach body workout videos in one day tomorrow or resolving to loose 25 lbs by the end of the week .
In school every semester I get to a point where I don't feel like it and I have to make the choice ...am I going to show up and put in the work and end the semester strong or am I going to quit and not reach my goal? I show up and keep going forward and this is what I plan to do on the last leg of my weightless journey as well.... one calorie, step and push up at a time.
