End of week three

Starting week 4, which marks the first quarter of the 14-week plan.

I've stuck to the plan religiously and must admit that I am seeing some improvement in some areas, including a decrease in joint pain and improved flexibility.

But where I've seen the most improvement has been in my mood and energy each morning. I've been getting up a few minutes early to treat myself to some easy morning yoga. It only takes me 10 minutes but by the time I'm done, I feel awake and ready to get on with the day. Before I hit my mat I take my vitamin D supplement and have a drink of water.

I've started to park in the farthest spot from my desk to get some extra steps in as well. I probably would not have had the energy to do that before 8am before.

    Well done! Doing yoga, deep breathing and meditation or even a short walk with the dog first thing is a super way to begin the day. emoticon emoticon
