I've lost an X..... or 2

I'm not a clothes horse, never have been. Not one to provide free advertising to any of the labels we all know and recognize. If it fits and is relatively inexpensive I'm good. But I have to admit, my late mother did not bless me with the best body type....... very big through the hips and thighs regardless of how much weight I lost. It was an asset during the 15 years that I played competitive ice hockey. The rest of my life...... not so much. As I began 2020, I would wear a 3 or 4x short and 3 or 4x top. Knowing I was starting a weight loss journey, I wasn't one to waste money on new clothes as I progressed through my weight loss. But after 90 pounds lost, the old sizes began to hang off me so I went online to Old Navy and ordered shorts and tops in a 2X and they fit beautifully. I'm 60 pounds from my goal weight of 225, at which time I'll order another round of clothes. Likely a 1x bottom and 1x or L tops. One more thing.... went to the beach the other day to eat breakfast and the beach chair I bought from DXL 2 years ago swallowed me whole. Like putting a toddler in a normal sized chair! I'm beginning to feel SMALLER for the first time in 30 years.
