First shot

Sunday, March 28, 2021

Well, I got my first Pfizer covid-19 vaccine shot yesterday. The vaccine clinic called me just before 1 pm to make sure I was coming and told me that if I could come early that would be perfect. My appointment was for 3:05 pm. So I headed to the clinic for my shot, everything moved at a steady pace and when I was called inside, they asked for my appointment time and thanked me for coming an hour early. Got the shot, the was moved to the observation room for 15 min. Today, I have a sore arm, headache, feel incredibly tired, and running a mild fever. All good signs that the shot is ramping up my immune system. Looking forward to when the rest of the family can get their shots.

Edit: Not all will have reactions with the shots - that doesn't mean it isn't working.

I didn’t have ant reactions after the first shot. My arm where I got the 2nd shot was sore but it wasn’t as bad as the shingles shot. I was tired the next day.

PWILLOW1, not everyone has a reaction to the vaccine. You are more than likely building up an immunity.

Oh dear, my DH & I had our first shots and neither of us felt a thing during of after. That must mean we are not building up much of an immunity.
