emoticon I have to laugh at many blogs and be thankful for a lot of things when I go back in time reading my blogs. They remind, confirm and reassure the struggles, victories and all in between. Understanding life is significantly improved because of all of it. How much better life is today compared to this same weight range six years ago. The fact that my current 350 Lb body does not physically resemble and can run circles around my former 350 pound person six years earlier is a transformation in itself. Take a revisit down memory lane loosing down to under 300 back then six years ago.



On Feb 3 2015 I was excited about my blog ("Goodbye size 60 & 5XL // Hello size 48 & 2XL") That same blog I mentioned **( I left home on the 28th at 364 pounds and have been on a nutritional tear. I am absolutely positive I have reached the 350's as my clothes have never felt looser. Strangely enough my 52's still fit ok at time I left but became quite baggy these past couple of days & finally decided time to buy new jeans.") Actually a little surprised reading this! This is the affirmation I do not physically resemble that person. While I am in size 2XLT shirts I also am in a larger size 42 jeans. enough said. emoticon


On May 27th 2015 around the same weight I am now I wrote **("I am happy to report this journey will end in over 300 pounds loss as I have the understand & the discipline that is needed") lol - Its a never ending learning process and have not had close to the discipline needed!! emoticon


That same blog I mentioned **("Sciatic nerve issues peaked this past week, barely able to walk at times, limiting myself to just under 60,000 steps this past week.") How much I have progressed and do not miss those days!! emoticon


July 1st 2015 I wrote ("22 strait days in the 340's now, most of them in the lower 340's. Closing in on the 30's.) Just going to put it on record now I will fly through the 340's this time around!! emoticon


July 22nd 2015 ("Today marks 44 strait days in the 340's checking in at 349.8 today. 70 of the last 84 days in the 340's after just spending a total of 32 days in the 350's.") emoticon


October 2nd 2015 ("It's been almost 10 weeks since I dipped into the 330's where I am still at this very moment.") Also wrote (" This year I finished with over 34,000 bales!! smashing the old record. I estimate 16,000 bales sold and delivered") LOL! 2020 it was 45,000 bales and delivered and sold 30,224 by the same date. emoticon


October 28th 2015 ("Its been a bit over 20 weeks now in the 340's and 330's. 26 days in the 330s and 114 days in the 340's. ") emoticon emoticon Again putting it on the record I plan to fly through the 40's and 30's much faster this time around. emoticon


December 6th 2015 (" Today December 6th 2015 is the first day observing a scale weight in the 320.s at 329.8") emoticon


Jan 23rd 2016 ("Today I am declaring restart in this transformation.") Back to 350!! emoticon


Feb 6th 2016 ("Using my very accurate scale, I have observed a 25.6 pound weight loss in exactly 2 weeks. Which is epic for this weight loss transformation") emoticon emoticon


March 6th 2016 ("11 strait days less than 320's and four strait days less than 317 observing the new low this transformation of 313.4 this past Thursday. ") emoticon


April 6th 2016 ("The 308.2 reading last week became the official weight for April 1st. I will take it! Down 241.8 pounds since the start back in 2013, 7.2 lbs this past month, 20.2 in past two months and 25.6 lbs this year. I have moved comfortably into size 44 and have had time to do shopping and replace most of my clothes.)" Affirmation again that physically I have changed!! My size 42 today probably fits that size 44 back then 40 pounds lighter than my current 353 weight. Proving how much body composition can change from being very active. emoticon


April 18th 2016 Blog headlined ("250 plus pounds lost. 200's arrive") I wrote ("Monday morning April 18th, I am thrilled to report today's observed reading of 299.4 pounds") emoticon emoticon


Saving the best for last!! Fast forward to April 29th 2017 I wrote("Observed scale weight of 299.8 today, a nice 4 pound drop since yesterday. Having done this tracking food accurately, daily observed weighing and blogging thing enough times in the past I am positively certain I will never see a reading in the 300's again and can make day 3 April 29th 2017 as officially the day I say goodbye to the 300's forever.") That's too ridiculously funny!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I've learned, through my experience--to never say never and I never utter the words, "I've Got This." Nope! The best I can do is, "for today, I have a plan practice in place and I'm willing to embrace it--for today." Then I can get up tomorrow and do it again. Every single time I've uttered the words-- or with actions/behaviors--to the effect of, "I got this," it always comes back to bite me.
    I love this exploration and revisiting of old posts... It's like time traveling. Well done, Jon
