Morning Sparkies,

Firstly thanks so everyone who shared their experiences with me :),hearing your stories has been wonderful :) it has been a very tough week. :) I am so grateful for a wonderful Husband who has been at my side every step of the way.

Some of his kindness was pushing me on my computer chair for a wheel chair... helping me with every task ...showers... telling me to breathe when I got up as I help my breath, waking to see if I was breathing..putting the sticky novacaine patches on me.... commiserating in the morning as I tried to pull them off. The weakness and lack of energy ....

We have three cyclones converging off to the side of our state ... though I am not as literate as some here it really makes me think of what is going on with me :) ...heart ... new GP... shingles... all converging and mingling and causing "safety departments" to advise fleeing the coast and getting back to Perth :)

I would have liked to flee these few months :)

However Hubby made me knit even though I didn't feel like I could lift the needles :) I finished the scarf too , a zig zag scarf knit in the round a new way of knitting to me, with Hubby urging me on to keep going when I made a mistake and had to undo a portion.

Thanks for stopping by today, I am feeling so much better today and will continue to follow my 'man's ' leadership and reach a full recovery :)

Hugs (gentle non contact ones) to you all :)

Tell those around you you love them and appreciate them,

Christine

You are lucky to have such a helper! He's a keeper!

Your knitting is so fine, I am envious. I can crochet but some nerve damage to my thumb and wrist stops me from knitting. Its a shame as I used to enjoy the "finer" look of knitted items. It doesn't stop me from making intricate things, though!

    Hi Christine,
I am so happy that you are feeling so much better. Having a loving, caring hubby really helps, and he is there to support you every step of the way.

Sorry about the three cyclones. Praying that they will dissipate.

Your knitting is lovely. What wonderful colors!

Take it easy and let your hubby pamper you! It is well deserved. Take care. emoticon

Glad to hear you are taking care of yourself and have such a wonderful, loving husband.

Hope the procedure is scheduled soon and the impending weather doesn't impact you too much.

Love the closeup of your knitting.

First of all I hope you're feeling a little better each day. That's most important.

Secondly, thank goodness you have your wonderful DH to help you! Just think if the situation were reversed. I don't think he'd feel like your helping him was a burden to you! So allow him to be a help. THAT HELPS HIM, too.

    That scarf is simply gorgeous . . . . the pattern, the colors . . . . beautiful.

That scarf is really nice, good job! Yes, keep following your hubby's lead and let him take care of you so you can regain your strength. Trying to do too much for yourself at this point could set you back and make things worse.

I know that leaning on someone else to take care of you can make you feel like a burden sometimes, but suck it up for the time being. It's for your own good! When you start to think you shouldn't let Phil do so much for you, remember to be grateful that you have someone beside you who will care for you. Remember also that a lot of people aren't so lucky to have someone there for them.

Continue to take it easy, rest up and regain your strength.Just like with the dieting, every day with good decisions is a day closer to the goal.

What a loving husband with a kind heart. Hopefully your procedure will be scheduled soon or at least have a date to know when it will be. Think of you often. Again such beautiful needlework and wise hubby to have you continue doing it.
